FAQ

Questions before you plan a FluidVoice setup.

Short answers for AI search, human buyers, and teams deciding whether this planner is useful.

Unofficial boundary GPL-3.0 source v1.6.1 release noted
Mac dictation workflow planner with waveform, model cards, and privacy boundary panels.

Is this the official FluidVoice website?

No. This is an independent hosted planning companion. It links official source references only in source notes.

Does this site record audio?

No. The planner takes setup assumptions in a form and returns planning output. It does not access the microphone.

Why is there pricing?

The free preview is useful for orientation. Full exports, team policy packs, and API access are gated behind a package selection and verified checkout.

Does FluidVoice send audio to the cloud?

The upstream README says voice, audio, and text stay local unless a cloud AI provider is explicitly enabled. The planner helps document that choice.

What happens if Polar is not configured?

Checkout returns an explicit configuration blocker. The site does not pretend a payment succeeded.

Can teams use this with Intel Macs?

The upstream README says Intel Macs are supported via Whisper models from FluidVoice 1.5.1+. The planner labels that as a compatibility path.
